Since September last year, I was in deep pondering on what would be phase 2 of Reveal by Meghna.

As we wait for our fourth Reveal by Meghna dialogue on alternative education this month, we have some news.😉

Conversations about revamping the curriculum to adapt it to the 30% of students not able to follow such educational programme is currently being addressed by few.🙏🏼

We have a long way to go in Mauritius, but relieved to witness that, we are not alone for this advocacy.😍

After this deep-rooted dialogue shared with Asha Jeenia , a primary school teacher, an artist, a yoga teacher and the concept creator of mandala meditation, there is hope.👩‍🎓

Both Asha and I believe that we do not need more than 15 students per classroom, and a teacher and a support teacher is a must per classroom. We are sure that you will relate to our beliefs in the shift Education should take at primary school level in Mauritius.

A small teaser of our second dialogue of Reveal by Meghna shared between Meghna Raghoobar and Shaistah Liyah Imambaccus , a smart and young lady who recently graduated from college, and currently pursuing her tertiary education.

Shaistah shares her personal observation of the Educational system coming from a star school, the competition she went through, and what could be done differently. While conversing with Shaistah, Meghna realised that the educational system remained more or less the same over the last thirteen years she left college.

👉Choose that typical Mauritian restaurant or café with your kids, and order your lunch/diner to sustain our local entrepreneurs in this tough times.

👉Plan a little picnic near the lake or river for tea-time on Sundays with your kids, and ensure to keep the place clean when leaving.

After this enlightening dialogue Meghna Raghoobar shared Armoogum Parsuramen, former Minister of Education for the Republic of Mauritius and founder of Global Rainbow Foundation, it reminds us of this famous quote : "Si jeunesse savait, si veillesse pouvait'.

Armoogum is very young in his mind and innovative in his approach, and the wisdom acquired through his lifelong experience could become a line of guidance for the future generations.

It feels like for the first time in the history of Mauritius, this inter-generational dialogue could shift the educational sector of the country.

We are thrilled to finally launch the project Reveal by Meghna to share with you different realities and perspectives Meghna Raghoobar will be gathering through dialogues, podcast series, seminars, webinars and film documentaries on Education, Ecology and Holistic Medicine as driving forces of any society.

Meghna's motive is to also start travelling to bring forward best practices around the globe to an audience seeking transformational shift.
