A mythical creature, a glowing skyline, and a fresh apple drink in hand. 🍎

The Merlion is one of Singapore’s most recognizable icons — but tonight, it’s part of a different kind of discovery.

Between the waterfront views and the city lights, even a simple night walk can lead to little details worth noticing. And sometimes, exploring a city is just as much about the small finds along the way as the landmarks themselves.

Because you don't always need a new destination to discover something new. Sometimes, you just need to explore the familiar a little differently.

Somewhere between the colors of the Rain Vortex and the trains gliding past, we found a little moment that made us pause. 🌈🚆

At Jewel Changi Airport, the waterfall is already a spectacle. But catching the train passing through the view—right as the colors shifted—made the scene feel even more special.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the best travel moments aren’t planned attractions or grand adventures. They’re the little details we happen to notice along the way.

A little island of light on the Singapore waterfront. 🌃🇸🇬

At first glance, it almost looks like a tiny glass world floating on the water. But this glowing sphere is actually the Apple Store at Marina Bay Sands—an architectural landmark that feels just as at home in the skyline as the city’s famous towers.

I love how Singapore turns even an everyday stop into something worth pausing for. Sometimes, the unexpected discoveries are right in front of us.

I thought no alpaca was going to choose me. 🦙😂

I offered food. A few walked right past me. Others just weren't interested.

Then finally, one came over and took the food from my hand.

And apparently, once one alpaca decided I was okay… the others followed. 😂

My first alpaca encounter in Korea — definitely worth the wait.

We had already seen plenty of beautiful Maldives scenery from above the water.

But Part 13 took us underneath it.

From Maafushi, we headed out by a speedboat for a Coral Garden snorkeling trip — and I finally got to try snorkeling for the first time.

The flippers? 😂 Definitely took some getting used to.

But once I was in the water, it was completely worth it. Crystal-clear blue water, corals, colorful fish and even sea turtles. 🐢

Sometimes the best part of a destination is the part you can't see from the shore.

Some places don't need much introduction.

The Grand Palace in Bangkok is one of those places where you can simply stop for a moment and take in the details — the colors, intricate patterns, gold, and the sheer amount of craftsmanship around you.

Thailand has plenty of famous places, but sometimes the best part of exploring is slowing down enough to notice what's right in front of you.

Everyone comes to this part of Seoul for the hanbok, the palace, and the beautiful streets.

But while walking around the area, I noticed something I wasn't expecting — a small caricature shop creating illustrated memories for visitors.

What else is out there?

Sometimes it's not another famous attraction that makes a travel day memorable. It's the little discovery you weren't actually looking for.

If you're already exploring the hanbok rental area near Gyeongbokgung, this could be a fun little stop to add to the experience — especially if you'd rather bring home a personal memory than another ordinary souvenir.

That's what I love about exploring Seoul: there's usually something interesting hiding just beyond the obvious.

Sometimes, the best travel moments are the ones you don't expect.

The Maldives is already the kind of place where the turquoise water and white sand feel almost too perfect to be real.

But what else is out there?

An orange sports car sitting in the middle of the ocean. 🚗🌊

Definitely not what I expected to see in the middle of all that blue — and somehow, that's what made the moment memorable.

For me, traveling has never been about following an itinerary so strictly that there's no room for anything else. I like having a plan, but I also like leaving enough space to follow whatever catches my attention along the way.

Because sometimes, the things you didn't plan for become the things you remember most.

There was a time when I thought travel was about seeing as many places as possible.

The more I traveled, the more I realized the places I remember most weren't always the famous ones.

They were the quiet streets behind the landmarks.

The café I almost walked past.

The conversations that weren't part of the itinerary.

The sunrise that made me stay a little longer.

Every journey left me with the same question.

What else is out there?

For me, that question has never been about finding another destination.
