The Pretoria High Court has reserved judgment in a case in which former President Edgar Lungu’s family is seeking permission to appeal an earlier ruling that ordered his repatriation for a state funeral in Zambia following his death on June 5, 2025.

Mr. Lungu died in South Africa, and three months later, he has not yet been laid to rest due to a standoff between his family and the Zambian government over his burial site.

HRDC- Timothy Mtambo and Gift Trampence amadana ndi DPP pa zifukwa zawo za dyera they forced Pastor Chakwera to lead the nation even though they had full information about Chakwera kuti sadziwa chili chonse.

Timothy Mtambo was caught in previous audio discussing with Chakwera, he said "even if DPP wins 2019 elections we won't accept it, we will use three ways to disprove their result, 1st thing demonstration, secondly we will use tipex and assert that it is them did it , and thirdly drag them to court, these ways will finish Mutharika and his DPP". This is reason why MCP took the lead otherwise if there were no Court, Tonse Alliance and HRDC- Timothy Mtambo and Gift Trampence MCP would be still on opposition seats.
