A South African civic group, Operation Dudula SA Movement, has urged citizens to think twice before traveling to Malawi for Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s crossover service, which is set to take place in Lilongwe. The group says its concerns stem from ongoing accusations by South African authorities, who claim the prophet was involved in defrauding some of his followers.

In a message shared publicly, Operation Dudula noted that despite these allegations, some South Africans are still reportedly preparing to attend the event. This, they said, is worrying given the seriousness of the claims hanging over the preacher.

The movement questioned what people are truly seeking from a religious leader facing such controversy—whether it’s spiritual guidance, miracles, or simply spectacle—and encouraged the public to pause, reflect, and avoid following anyone blindly.

A fertilizer production plant currently being built in Dowa is expected to begin operations around April next year, bringing fresh hope to the country’s agricultural sector. Once fully operational, the facility is projected to significantly boost local fertilizer supply.

The company’s owner, Napoleon Dzombe, says the factory will have the capacity to produce roughly 40 metric tonnes of fertilizer every hour. At that rate, he explained, the plant could meet Malawi’s national fertilizer demand within about 150 days. Most of the manufacturing equipment has already been installed, while the remaining construction work is set to wrap up by January 2026.

Dzombe, who founded and leads Mtalimanja Holdings Limited, noted that the project was born out of the need to address frequent fertilizer shortages. He added that producing fertilizer locally will also cut down on the high costs associated with importing the commodity, ultimately making it more accessible to farmers.

Drake is switching things up for his upcoming Iceman album by recording in a place most artists wouldn’t even consider—a strip club. Instead of a quiet, closed-off studio, he’s reportedly set up his recording gear inside Area 29, soaking in the raw nightlife energy while working on new music. It’s unexpected, but very on-brand for him.

For Drake, inspiration clearly doesn’t follow rules. Being surrounded by loud music, movement, and late-night vibes could be exactly what he needs to tap into a certain mood or sound. Fans are now watching closely, wondering how this unconventional setting will reflect on the final feel of Iceman.

A Nigerian government official has sparked public outrage after appearing to fake a fainting episode when questioned about missing public funds. The moment happened during an official inquiry, just as pressure mounted for clear answers over the unaccounted money.

Witnesses say the official suddenly slumped and stopped responding, causing confusion in the room. Medical help was briefly considered, but many observers quickly doubted the authenticity of the incident, describing it as a dramatic attempt to dodge tough questions.

The episode has since gone viral, with Nigerians online expressing anger and frustration over corruption and lack of accountability. Many are calling for a full investigation, insisting that theatrics should not replace transparency when public money is involved.
