As reporting season kicks in, many of us are back in our tools, pulling together trends across regions, categories, or time periods. You build the chart, the data is correct, but the visual starts to feel crowded and harder to explain than it should be.
Before you send that report to stakeholders, it’s worth pausing to ask, "is this chart helping people immediately see the trend, or making them work to understand it?"
