He's probably the youngest Malawian businessman owning Marcopolo Paradiso 1800 Double Deckers one a 6th gen the other a 7th gen Dreamliner; he also owns a G6 single decker a couple of trucks he wholesomely owns Ulendo Transport that offers logistics services between Malawi and South Africa. He's one man I have seen who's actively supporting the transport sector in our country offering a unique approach to travelling in Malawi and actively engaging and addressing issues affecting transport operators. His name is Mr Yusuf Miles, I recognize him as the new generation of operators and business person of the month of May in Malawi.

Meet Celia the heavenly coach from Malawi 🇲🇼 the land of the Scorchers burn or get burnt we say. Celia belongs to none other than Ulendo Transport operating as Ulendo Luxury Coaches under the watchful eye of Mr Yusuf Miles Celia sits on a Volvo B11R chassis not sure of power and torque outputs but this generation with a 10.8l turbocharged straight-6 from Volvo did between 330hp to 450hp with torque output between 1836Nm and 2224Nm depending on emission regulations which are Euro 5 or 6. Transferring all that mighty power and force is a Volvo I-Shift 12-Step or a ZF 6-Step Auto.
The cabin of the Marcopolo G6 Paradiso 1800 stands as one of the most spacious and perhaps the best when it comes to space and comfort. You have you 2x2 seating configuration with seats that can recline to 130° angle on top of that it comes with foot rests well because it's a Marcopolo double decker. The seats on their own are something else creature comfort I like to call them. They're wide feature extra foam and padding together with that air suspension trust me Celia doesn't glide it feels plush yet composed.
Features like charging ports are available as well the toilet is located below upper deck just behind the driver compartment yes there's a compartment for the driver and crew. All in all the Marcopolo G6 Paradiso 1800 deserves my coach of the week in as much as there's a G7 in fleet I just feel the 6th generation Marcopolo hits the sweet spot a lot more. A classic in every respect.
