Dzaleka Refugee Camp is once again poised to transform into a global stage of hope, unity and artistic celebration, as the much-anticipated Tumaini Festival returns with it's eleventh edition. The Festival organisers, have announced that the 2025 edition will take place from October 30 to November 1,2025. The main opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has endorsed peaceful demonstrations organized by Citizens for Credible Elections in Malawi. The demonstrations, slated for tomorrow, are for the resignation of the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Chairperson Annabel Mtalimanja and CEO Andrew Mpesi over allegations of bias and incompetence. Old Mutual Pension Services Company (OMPSC) has lauded the positive impact of its Mulinji Mu Peshoni Act 2023 campaign which aimed to raise awareness about changes in pension law. Launched on April 1 and concluding on June 30, the campaign educated the public on key changes in the Act and their effects on both current and future pensioners.
