🌟 Welcome to the PRSM Family! Grivin Black! 🌟

We are thrilled to officially welcome, as a student member, Grivin Black, a First Year Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication student at the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS).

Grivin's story is one of courage, resilience, and inspiration. He first captured the hearts of many during a Public Lecture at MUBAS when he boldly stood up to engage the Minister of Trade Hon. Vitumbiko Mumba with a thoughtful question.

His confidence, humility, and hunger to grow in the field of communication left a lasting impression on members of PRSM.

In a beautiful act of solidarity and mentorship, one of our members has since volunteered to sponsor Grivin’s PRSM student membership annually, until he completes his studies. This is a celebration of potential and a reflection of the spirit of our Society.

Grivin’s journey has not been easy. Raised by a single mother, he started off with his academic journey at Linthipe Secondary School but had to pause after Form 3 due to financial challenges. With unwavering determination and his mother’s support, he returned to school through Open Distance Learning at Chinsapo Secondary School, where he passed MSCE with 19 points. Out of over 300 students, only 5 made it to university, and Grivin was one of them.

👏🏾 We salute you, Grivin. Your resilience and drive embody the values we hold dear at PRSM. We are excited to walk this journey with you, as you grow into one of Malawi’s future voices in strategic communication.
