You Were Not Meant For Marriage

If s*x doesn’t matter to you, marriage isn’t for you. In marriage, s*x is not optional - it’s core. If you don’t want s*x, seek support from friends and relatives, and consider adopting children.

If you want to keep your money separate, stay single. Marriage is a shared vision, shared wallet, and shared sacrifice. You can’t pay bills like roommates and expect the full rewards of marriage.

If you love your parents and children more than your spouse, marriage will feel like a burden. Your partner must come first. If not, live with your parents and raise your children there.

If you can’t listen, stay alone. Marriage is not ruled by one voice. It’s built by two humble hearts that listen to each other. Know-it-alls depress their partner. Humility holds love together.

If you’re not correctable, stay single. If you can’t say “I’m sorry,” you can’t live with anyone. Marriage is not for the proud. Marriage is for people who own up their mistakes and apologize.

Cha Cha

They call her Cha Cha,
A woman with sunlight in her soul,
Walking through the world with kindness,
Like rain falling on thirsty ground.

On Facebook she spreads hope daily,
Not just pictures and empty laughter,
But words that heal wounded hearts,
And love that reaches the forgotten.

She is more than a digital creator,
She is a voice for the helpless,
A hand stretched toward the needy,
A mother to strangers in pain.

While many seek fame and attention,
Cha Cha seeks broken souls to comfort,
Turning her platform into a blessing,
And her influence into compassion.

She visits places others ignore,
Where tears hide behind smiles,
Where hunger sleeps beside children,
And hopelessness fills the air.

Yet every time she appears,
Joy enters like morning light,
For her generosity speaks loudly,
Even when her lips are silent.

Ndimamuwona akumwetulira nawe,
Koma ine ndimaona tsogolo limene likubwera,
Chikondi chili ndi mawu okoma,
Ukapanga zibwana ndikuthira machaka

Ine ndakhala ndikuona dziko,
Ndikudziwa mmene moyo umasinthira,
N’chifukwa chake mtima wanga ukukana,

This issue of Kineo and that girl reminds me of what happened to another family in Zomba. Those who are from Zomba, especially Kwachidzalo, will remember this story.

So this is what happened around 2009. There was this family that was considered rich at the time because the father was working at Chanco, and he was doing everything possible to take care of his children. He had two or maybe three daughters.

Guess what? His first daughter started dating a guy who was selling firewood( ogulitsa nkhuni), and the father wasn’t happy about it. You know how parents can be. As a father, he tried his best to end the relationship, but nothing worked.

At some point, the girl got pregnant by that poor guy, and it was embarrassing for the family. What they did was send her back to school while they raised the child.

Fast forward, she came back home pregnant again, and it was by the same guy who had impregnated her before. Everyone was shocked.

As I’m speaking, those two are married. So sometimes, you may think you’re controlling your daughter, yet you might actually be making their love stronger.
But I’m not saying parents shouldn’t protect their children.

Ku Lilongwe ndi ku Blantyre,
Achinyamata tikuthamanga-thamanga
Ena pa kabaza, ena m’ma shop,
Koma tonse tikufuna mawa labwino.

Moyo wa hustle suona nkhope,
Lero ndi njala, mawa ndi phwando,
Lero ndi misozi, mawa ndi kuseka,
Chifukwa moyo umasinthasintha.

Anzanga ena anataya chiyembekezo,
Ena analowa m’njira zosayenera,
Koma ine ndimagwira maloto anga mwamphamvu,
Ngati mlimi wagwira khasu mumvumbi.

Usiku timagona ndi nkhawa,
M’mawa timadzuka ndi mphamvu zatsopano,
Chifukwa munthu wa hustle sagonja,
Ngakhale dziko limukanire.

Tsiku lina dzuwa lidzawala,
Mavuto adzakhala nthano,
Ndipo anthu adzanena mokweza,
“Uyu anadutsa mu moto wa moyo koma sanapse.”
