Today after our meeting at the station, we suggested to visit our fellow youths at Bua secondary school in Mchinji.
There we visited a local student club they call it Science club. We had a great time and we had somen interviews about their own initiatives in supporting the livelihood of youths.

Before Bua we had some interesting chats with random young people along side the way!

Last weekend, we had an enriching exchange visit to Monkey Bay in Mangochi, Malawi, organized by Dzimwe Community Radio(Youth Take Action) under the Shaping the future nitiative. Our team, aptly named "Let's Shine Achinyamata tiwale," joined hands with the local community Youth Take Action Club in this vibrant exchange program.

During our visit, we had the opportunity to engage with students at Monkey Bay F.P. School, where we shared insights on important topics such as sexual and reproductive health rights, gender-based violence, and substance abuse. The primary students showcased their talents through drama, poetry, and singing, making the session highly interactive and enjoyable. We can't wait to host them again in the future!

Additionally, we conducted a workshop on interview skills and how to effectively record live programs, enhancing their practical knowledge in media production(Ambience). This exchange also fostered networking opportunities for collaboration among participants.

We extend a big shout-out to Developing Radio Partners , Health,USAID, for their invaluable support, as well as to our dedicated coordinator, Chicco Moyo, and Community Radio Station's manager and mentor, Special thanks to our Station Managerfor Mudzi Wathu Community Radio Station - Malawi Mr. Josephy Njanji, our producer, Nickson Phiri, presenter Moreen Liheru, member Tapiwa Jere, and mentor Daniels Kamchacha MC for their contributions to making this event a success. Together, we are building a brighter future through collaboration and shared knowledge!
