VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Jenda Water Users Association is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following positions based in Jenda, Mzimba District.

1. Office Assistant (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of office premises and surroundings.

Support office administration through photocopying, printing, binding, and movement of office items.

Assist in organizing meetings and preparing refreshments.

Ensure office equipment such as photocopiers and printers are functioning properly.

Perform reception duties, including welcoming and directing visitors.

Qualifications & Experience:

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year's experience as an Office Assistant or Cleaner.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in simple English.

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years.

2. Security Guards

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of the Association's resources.

Safeguard employees and visitors.

Assess and manage security risks.

Monitor access to the Association's premises.

Qualifications & Experience:

Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the security field.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in simple English.

Team player with a flexible and self-motivated attitude.

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 45 years.

3. Plumber

Key Responsibilities:

Connect new water taps and repair/clean meter spots.

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Carry out water scheduling.

Assist the Meter Reader in preparing water bills.

Conduct pipeline repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Certificate in Plumbing.

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in plumbing.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in simple English.

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years.
