Neno Active Youth in Development (NAYODE)
POSITION: Resource Mobilization Officer
LOCATION: Neno District, Malawi
CONTRACT TYPE: One (1) year renewable subject to performance and funding availability
OVERVIEW
Neno Active Youth in Development (NAYODE) is a youth-focused organization committed empowering young people mental health, education, environmental conservation and livelihood programs. We strive to create supportive environments that promote mental health wellbeing and sustainable development in the community.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Programs Manager, Resource Mobilization Officer will support the organization in securing funding, building partnerships, and strengthening donor engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities from
donors, foundations, and partners.
• Develop high-quality proposals, concept notes, and grant applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Support development of fundraising strategies and plans.
• Track funding opportunities and maintain a donor database.
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to develop project budgets.
• Contribute to reporting and communication with donors.
• Represent NAYODE in networking and partnership meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administrations, Politics and International Relations or related field
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Experience in proposal writing, fundraising, or partnership development is an added advantage.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
