A wise old man was asked by a young boy, "What is the most valuable thing in life?"

The old man replied, "It is not money, nor is it fame or power. The most valuable thing in life is time."

The boy was puzzled. "Time?" he asked. "Why time?"

The old man smiled. "Because time is the one thing that we all have in equal measure, but it is also the one thing that we can never get back once it is lost. Every moment we waste is gone forever. Every moment we use wisely is a gift to ourselves and to others."

The boy thought about this for a moment. "But what about money?" he asked. "Can't we just buy more time with money?"

The old man chuckled. "No, my young friend," he said. "Money can buy us things, but it cannot buy us more time. And even if it could, what would be the point of having all the time in the world if we did not have the wisdom to use it well?"

The boy nodded, beginning to understand. "So, how can I make the most of my time?" he asked.

The old man smiled again. "That is a question for the ages," he said. "But here is a hint: the key to making the most of your time is to use it to make a positive impact on the world around you. Help others, learn new things, pursue your passions. And always remember, every moment is a gift. Use it wisely."

From that day on, the boy made a point to value every moment of his time, and to use it to make the world a better place. And he lived a long and happy life, filled with purpose and joy.

Everyone is not on the same time zone as you. An elephant is pregnant for 22 months while a rabbit is carried its offspring for only a month. You are carrying a different destiny than your neighbour. It is why your success takes a little longer. Because it is bigger and will last longer than most people's success. Just remember that when it is night in Australia, it is still morning in America.

Don’t compare yourself to others whose time has come. Be patient. The world is still spinning. Your set time for breakthrough will come. Nobody can stop it! Read Scripture.

Many times, the Pharisees tried to kill Christ, “but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come”-John 7:30. That admission, visa, job, business, contract or marriage has not happened because your hour has not come. But it will still come. And it will be bigger and better!

Sometimes, the reason we don't give up is when we remember who is watching.

Giving up would be a betrayal to the so many who believe in us.

Quitting would discourage those who look to us for inspiration and encouragement.

Yet the toughest part about being strong is that nobody knows when we need help.

Even champions need a shoulder to lean on at times, but to whose hands can the champion fall for support?

Great people are not those who never fail. It's those who rise every time they fall.

And yet society has made us think that strength means always being on top. So when we stumble and fall with exhaustion, we think we're finished.

When you feel tired, learn to rest, not to quit.

You may be a winner and a light to many. But you're human too.

And the best gift you can give those who care about you is to take good care of yourself.

If there are days you can't show up, let it be.

If there are days you need to retreat inwards and work on things you can't tell the world about, so be it.

Those who care don't mind it when you take a sabbatical leave for yourself from time to time. And those who mind don't matter.

I think that the best investment ever is investing in yourself.
Feeding your mind, getting the necessary knowledge and skills.

You could lose anything at all, but if you've got the right information and knowledge you can get it all back.
