APPRECIATION POST

Honde is a name that is famous around Domasi College of Education. We can't talk about entertainment without mentioning his name. There is no doubt that Gift Honde has transformed the entertainment at Domasi College of Education.

During his tenure, we have seen Domasi hosting big shows featuring major artists like Eli Njuchi and Onesmus. For the first time, Domasi College of Education participated in the Maso Awards all because of his efforts.

Respect should always be accorded to those who deserve it. Is it not Chinua Achebe who said, "He who gives respect to others paves a way of his own greatness." Surely, Gift Honde deserves to be respected and appreciated for being one of the best Entertainment Directors that have ever lived.

Let's give him some flowers and make him feel appreciated.

We now turn our attention to the Multi-Purpose Hall, where the Mr. and Miss Domasi event is taking place this evening.

But wait! Were you there? DCE News Update was there!

How many of you remember this moment? How many witnessed this night? How many enjoyed the vibe?

Were you there when, for the first time, third-year mature entry George Victor Khaula (MUCHACHO LENSIR ) threw his hat into the ring and broke a record to become the First Prince? His outstanding performance left everyone talking for days. If we don’t call it confidence, how will we define confidence?

How many of you are ready to see something like this this evening? Who is eager to find out who will take the throne? Tonight holds the answer as about five male and four female contestants line up for the showdown.

You can’t afford to miss this event. See you there!

From a humble village boy to a holder of a Bachelor of Education in Language, Arts and Communication with credit.

He hails from the Madise area in Mzimba District and is the third child in a family of five. He has no background of any parent or sibling going to college; he is the only child in his family who has attended college.

He completed his primary education from Standard 1 to 8 at rural Madise Primary School in Mzimba before moving on to Madise CDSS, where he studied Form 1 and Form 2. The CDSS had only five teachers for Form 1 and Form 4.

He completed Form 3 and 4 in Mzuzu, achieving 30 points in his first MSCE attempt. On his second attempt, he improved to 16 points, which allowed him to attend Karonga TTC from 2018 to 2020 and then Domasi College of Education in 2021.

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for our former Publication and Information Director and former Writers Club president Fellahz Madise
