Del Rio, Texas.- Attorney Robert Garza, reported to the Texas Bar Association, with No. 202404222 for procedural fraud in civil case 2021/0089/CCL and abuses committed in subsequent hearings held in the case numbered and in the subsequent one with No. 2022/0081/CCL, requested an extension to respond to the complainant Gloria Ruiz García, whose deadline expired on August 9.
The Texas Bar Association informed the complainant via email of the Bar's response granting the extension that will expire on September 5 and if attorney Garza does not respond, the Bar Association would proceed to take disciplinary action against attorney Robert Garza.
As a coincidence, the date on which the Bar will be issuing a determination of the reported case is precisely November 4, one day before the elections in the United States of America, on November 5, 2024.
Robert Garza is a candidate for representative of the State of Texas in district 74 and was not reported by Judge Sergio González in 2023, when the annulment of the divorce promoted by attorney Garza for his client Benjamin Baker was granted in court, due to a fraud claim against his wife, the family of the affected party considers that he was protected by Judge Sergio González, an action that marks the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct, as an action of serious consequences because Robert Garza was already a candidate at that time and the Judge had in his hands the evidence of the fraud committed by attorney Garza and verbally exposed it during the trial, as well as the fraud and perjury committed by Benjamin Baker and Judge González did not take action against both and limited himself to annulling the divorce.
"Robert Garza uses legal strategies to delay the response to my complaint and to get to the end of the election in which he is a candidate, without any action being taken against him, but the fraud he committed together with his client is public knowledge, among other illegal and abusive actions committed in different hearings of the case, Garza is not worthy of being a representative of the citizens in any public office" highlights Gloria Ruiz.
Likewise, the complainant points out the impunity with which these cases are handled in which there is a clear mafia of power in which they protect each other without caring about the damage they cause to the victims among whom are often minors.
Robert Garza, the experienced lawyer from Del Rio with a long history of public office, was not able to respond in 30 days to the complaint filed by a woman without legal knowledge but who has been able to exhibit with evidence the series of injustices, bad actions and crimes committed by officials, lawyers and the ex-husband of her daughter, being publicly questioned for their actions.
However, attorney Garza has continued to lead the defense of his client Benjamin Baker, dubiously promoting the immediate eviction of the affected party from the house she still lives in, but without his client complying with the payment of the retirement money benefit to his ex-wife, ordered by decree on April 1, 2024 by the Val Verde County Judge, Sergio González, the only benefit he granted to the affected party in a divorce trial without legal defense.
In a hearing on July 23, requesting an order for immediate possession of the house in the name of Benjamin Baker, he was questioned by Gloria Ruiz, exercising the right of assisted representation for her daughter's guardian, lacking legal defense, Benjamin Baker left the hearing digitally when he was questioned about a recent act of violence against his ex-wife and took 4 minutes to return to the session by direct order of Judge Sergio González, who again acknowledged that he was not informed in 2022 about the health status of the affected party who should not have been divorced under those circumstances and that is why he annulled the divorce; adding that he cannot change the law and regarding his decision to grant her only the 401K benefit, he said that it was based on the request made at the time by lawyer Rogelio Muñoz; However, in the words of Gloria Ruiz, she states that although attorney Muñoz failed to fulfill his duty as her daughter's defense attorney, he did request in writing and the document with the requests for benefits for his client for the second divorce in 2023 was filed, so the Judge could not rely on what was requested by her daughter's then-defense attorney, because that document is even available and there was no agreement to annul the 2022 divorce. The other party, that is, attorney Robert Garza and his client Benjamin Baker, preferred that the divorce be annulled rather than go to trial with a discharge of evidence and witnesses. There was never an agreement between the parties. It was the Judge who ruled to annul or go to trial and the other party preferred that the 2022 divorce be annulled.
"The criminals are Robert Garza and Benjamin Baker, not my daughter, whose human and civil rights were violated by various instances of the Texas government and who has been denied legal assistance even though she has been willing to pay for it." Claims the complainant Gloria Ruiz.
