Across the province today, Sindh's MDCAT 2026 brought out over 34,000 examinees across multiple urban centers, managed entirely by SIBA Testing Services to maintain a seamless testing experience.
While overseeing the rigorous examination procedures amidst severe temperatures, Sukkur IBA University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh temporarily lost consciousness due to the extreme weather and the heavy burden of managing such a large-scale evaluation. His hands-on dedication earned widespread admiration from both students and their families.
Registration numbers spanned various regions, including 10,964 test-takers in Karachi, 5,000 in Hyderabad, 4,626 in Jamshoro, 2,093 in Mirpurkhas, 2,562 in Shaheed Benazirabad, 3,123 in Larkana, and 5,556 in Sukkur, alongside a designated center in Islamabad for eligible candidates holding Sindh domicile.
Known widely for upholding strict merit and honesty, Sukkur IBA took over the examination responsibilities following past controversies, implementing stringent protocols to safeguard test integrity. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh has consistently stressed the absolute security of question papers and his personal accountability toward maintaining fairness, drawing praise from the community.
Ultimately, today's assessment underscored the vital role of transparent administration and dedicated oversight, with the public commending both Dr. Shaikh and the entire SIBA crew for their relentless efforts.
