Forty years ago in 1985, a very young ERNEST KOHL was finally able to release his first records under his own name after previously releasing records for other Producers who sadly did not put his name on the release's. They were released under other names or other group names but not as ERNEST KOHL. But then after his management at the time won the lawsuits ERNEST KOHL was able to be free of the contractual agreements and then able to release records under his own name. To celebrate this wonderful 40th Anniversary, ERNEST KOHL is releasing a very special release of one of the very first records.
ERNEST KOHL is excited present to you a brand new Maxi-Single of the very first record entitled "CUT THE GAME".
"CUT THE GAME" was originally released with only one mix on a double "A" sided vinyl record with the now classic "COME ALIVE AT NIGHT" on the flip on UNIDISC RECORDS in 1985
This one original mix of "CUT THE GAME" quickly became a favorite with dance music enthusiasts for it's unique driving HI-NRG sound with a progressive feel.
The original production was Produced, Written & Arranged by Ernest Kohl and Grammy Award Nominated Steve Skinner and Mixed By 5 Time Grammy Award Winner Chris Lord Alge.
Flash-Forward Forty years later to Today in 2025, Now ERNEST KOHL gives us a Full-length Maxi-Single of this incredible song "CUT THE GAME" which now features 35 Brand New Remixes by some of the top Remixers in the music industry of today!
