These are the first lyric's of the very first song a very young ERNEST KOHL wrote & recorded under his own name of ERNEST KOHL after previously releasing records for other Producers who sadly did not put his name on the releases. They were released under other Artist names or other group names but not as ERNEST KOHL. The year was 1985, a very young ERNEST KOHL took to the stage at the now famous and legendary"ICE PALACE" Club on Fire Island, New York to perform "LIVE" in Concert on Memorial Day Weekend.
From the very moment ERNEST KOHL & his highly skilled dancers hit the stage that night, the audience knew they were seeing a brand new star in the making right before their very eyes.At this performance not only did ERNEST KOHL Sing & Dance so incredibly but also amazed the crowd twirling real Saber knives and received a standing ovation & was asked back to perform again the next 2 following nights.
This new release of "COME ALIVE AT NIGHT" (THE REMIXES) is part of the celebration of a wonderful 40th Anniversary, ERNEST KOHL is very excited to present to you a brand new full-maxi-single of powerful remixes of this classic hit, as there was never-ever one released before.
"COME ALIVE AT NIGHT" was originally released with only one mix on a double "A" sided vinyl record with the now classic "CUT THE GAME" on the flip side on UNIDISC RECORDS in 1985.
This one original mix of "COME ALIVE AT NIGHT" quickly became a huge cult favorite Anthem with dance music enthusiasts for it's unique driving HI-NRG sound and soaring vocals with a progressive feel being played at prime clubs of the time such as "STUDIO 54", "THE SAINT, "LIMELIGHT" & "THE PALLADIUM", ( all of which a very young ERNEST KOHL performed at "LIVE" in concert)
The original production was Produced, Arranged & Written by Ernest Kohl and Grammy Award Nominated Steve Skinner and Mixed By 5 Time Grammy Award Winner Chris Lord Alge.
