Today is a special day for my mother Rena. She is 68 today. Yesterday I told her “Mom, you’re not an elder to me. I still think of you as if you are in your 40’s” and then she says I am an elder! Hahaha. I don’t think she is still.
She has done so much for me I’ll never ever be able to repay her. I am grateful for all the memories I have with my mother. We had a whole 10 years before my brother came around. Then I had to share her. Since then I have learned to share her because she has so much love, wisdom, and love to give.
She sometimes don’t have a filter and says too much but she speaks the truth and to some it hurts. I think she gets that from my Cheíí Thomas Pine. Her sensor of humor can sometimes be taken as harsh words. It’s just a Pine thing I guess.
Her passion is beading. She has done so much beading projects in her life time but each piece she has made with thought and love because she does it bead by bead.
She is always the FIRST one to notice when the internet goes off. She watch’s TV, listens to KNDN, plays on her iPad, and beads. Sometime all at once. She a very busy lady!
With all this said. I want to wish my mom a very happy birthday and many more to come. Words can’t express how much I love you.
