Caring for animals means knowing how to protect all of them.

A huge thank you to Biomuseo Uumbali for taking the time to visit Wet Noses Rescue and share their knowledge with our team on safely and responsibly handling feral cats and local wildlife.

Living and working alongside nature means unexpected visitors are part of shelter life - from birds and toads to snakes and other wildlife. Knowing how to respond calmly, safely and humanely helps protect our team, the animals in our care, and the wild animals who find their way onto our property.

We’re so grateful to Biomuseo Úumbali for helping us continue to learn and become better caretakers of every life that crosses our path.

Because rescue doesn’t stop at our shelter gates.

We urgently need temporary local fosters for our shelter animals, cats and dogs.

Can you open your home for a cat or dog for two weeks? We provide you with everything you need and transport to and from. Please comment or send us a message if you can open your heart and home for 14 days. The secret to living is giving.

Are you flying out of Puerto Vallarta (PVR) to Canada?

Sign up to become a volunteer Flight Angel and be apart of such a rewarding experience!

Being a Flight Angel is easy:
- all expenses related to flying the pet are covered.
- we prepare all the paperwork.
- we meet you at the airport with the pup or kitty.
- the excited adoptive family meets you right at
arrivals!

These are our top three priority flight needs right now, but our needs are always changing as more dogs and cats are adopted. Apply to be a flight angel through the link in our bio, we may have a pet that matches your itinerary, now or in the near future!

Every flight changes a life. We are currently at 100% capacity, and every animal who flies home creates space for us to rescue another.
