Al igual que los más de 500 jugadores que ya forman parte de la historia de Táctica, nuestros jugadores más jóvenes tendrán su propio ranking y rotación de cancha. A medida que suban de nivel, algunos podrán avanzar al ranking principal de adultos. ¡Atentos! 💪🔥

Our teaching pro Kevin Duff is providing a complimentary GLP workshop for everyone playing in the tournament. The workshop is 100% free if you register for the GLP tournament by March 10th. Darren Thompson and Jeff Weinberg will by assisting instructors with the workshop and Mariel Rivera with logistics to increase capacity and ensure it’s a great experience for everyone.

We hope everyone is as excited as we are! Following is a description of the GLP workshop
Tournament Organizing Team

GLP is an amazing play format! In a GLP event, you get to play with and cheer on your team of four players! The scoring system is rally point, meaning every rally counts as a point, regardless of which team serves. Your team will decide how to best match up against your opponents. If your match is tied 2-2 after the first four games, you’ll play a Dreambreaker—a singles game where all players rotate in. GLP is a unique format and tons of fun!

Join the next GLP workshop this Friday (March 14th) from 5-7 PM to learn effective strategies for playing GLP format pickleball. During this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the benefits of choosing serve, receive, or side, how to strategically choose your teams, how to adjust your play considering rally point scoring and same-side play, and strategies for full-court singles. With your participation, you’ll receive a comprehensive handout that covers all the content in the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early to warm up and check in.

Cost for non-members (not playing in the tournament): 550 pesos
Cost for members (not playing in the tournament): 350 pesos
Cost for Academy students (not playing in the tournament): 300 pesos

*GLP Team Style Tournament March 14-16!* (Last of the Season)

This is a team-based event. You don’t need to make your own team. The tournament director will be making competitive teams with the players that sign up Individually. In the end all the teams will be matched to provide the ultimate competition. It's an event for all ages and all skill sets. The teams must be divided evenly 2 men, 2 women per team. In an emergency, to conserve the integrity of the tournament the tournament director may designate a team without two women and two men if necessary. We play rally scoring. Each player is guaranteed a minimum of 8 games (4 matches).
