After two years of sitting with the name for my songs, some of them journaled lyrics set to music on Suno, I settled on Hush Onnīr. The journey to the name began the summer of 2026 in Albania…
Hush Onnīr was born when I heard something unusual on the shores of the Ionian sea. When I lay down on the sand the sound of the crashing waves changed.
They instantly hushed. I took a breath in and on the exhale I automatically whispered, “Hush,” as if it were what my soul had needed to speak to itself.
Onnīr showed up later that day. It felt like a second word with the feeling of a hush. It turned out to be a happy accident — shining in Sanskrit, happiness in Finnish, neither of which I knew when I chose it.
Quiet radiance. That is what this channel is for.
All lyrics are my own. Style notes music choices, and my recorded voice are run through Suno. The melodies and voice represent hundreds of hours mastering the music until each song reflects my words back to me.
A song is complete when it feels like my journaled lyrics sing back to me like a best friend. I hope these songs bring you the same healing and joy they continue to bring me. Blessings.
