Update: Phil had a good night last night. He had an excellent nurse. God has really moved on our behalf with who is giving him care. He has had a lot more responsiveness, moving all his toes when touching his feet. Stronger on the left than the right. This morning when the nurse and I were talking to him - she lives in our home town Dallas and we have lots of people, and the Lord in common so we were talking to him and he kept yawning- like maybe he wanted to join in!! Of course we continue to pray for new brain, heart, lungs and kidneys.
Specific prayers..he has air leaks into his chest from lung injuries. Asking God to heal his lungs and stop the leaking as it is filling his upper body with squishy air. His face is getting worse. Looks like a big fat man.
- [ ] Pray for more evidence that he is coming back to us. Eyes are becoming more responsive, coughing, gagging, responding on feet, pain reactions are pretty strong. No response in arms ir fingers.
- [ ] Calling that back playing and singing.
- [ ] We Praise God for the small improvements every day. He is so good!!
- [ ] Pray: stop air leaks from lung
- [ ] More purposeful movement - moving hands, fingers
- [ ] Reduce inflammation and pain
- [ ] Digest and absorb food.
- [ ] I will do a video update tonight.
- [ ] Keep singing!!!
