Part 3
“Be honest.” A simple phrase that carries so much power.
For one of my tv & film class projects this year, I had to create a documentary. Editing isn’t my strongest suit (so not too much y’all😭). Nevertheless, I love creating and watching layered stories about experiences, people, and places that impact culture, globally. Soo…I chose to highlight Cascade Family Skate aka Cascade and its founder, Mr. Greg Alexander.
Being raised in Atlanta and experiencing international success, I often notice sprinkles of our southern expressions and style leveraged for profit but credit is m.i.a. or watered down.
Thank you Mr. Greg & all the skaters who took a few minutes to talk open and honestly for my class project. One thing about Cascade, regardless of age, race, nationality or socioeconomic bg ppl show up, to turn up.
