Here’s a still life I made in it’s so pretty yeah yeah, but let’s get real for a sec: why do so many people place so much value on technique? A lot of people undervalue my more conceptual pieces. I think it’s the same people who ridicule modern art since they were programmed by our capitalist culture to think “more effort = better art.”

Here it is, finally, the Soul Plane. My first piece in I started this project not knowing much about 3D sculpting, compositing, or water simulations. But I learned a ton of new skills. I’m really satisfied with the result as this is exactly how I dreamed my spiritual anatomy to look like. I’m hoping to incorporate more 3D into my video making process. I’m sure it will facilitate my creative process and open up new doors.

Just sharing an update on my 3D modeling journey. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s so satisfying. I hope this effort will open more doors for me creatively :) I’m excited for what my future art will looks like and I want you to be a part of it.
