A great day at the Guadalajara Open 🎾🇲🇽

I watched Liudmila Samsonova vs. Marta Kostyuk, followed by Peyton Stearns vs. Sloane Stephens. Samsonova came back from a set down to beat Kostyuk 4–6, 6–2, 7–5, while Stearns defeated Stephens 7–6(6), 6–4.

The Samsonova–Kostyuk match had a very noticeable atmosphere in the stands, with strong support for Kostyuk. For me, tennis should be about the players, their talent and the competition on the court — not where they come from. I felt particularly sorry for Samsonova, who fought incredibly hard to come back and win. 🎾👏

Whatever the politics, it was a memorable night of tennis in Guadalajara.

I wish they were selling Pimms tho!!

What a day!!! totally exhausted with all the excitement, some of you may know, I love Horses and it was a pleasure to watch the Charros/Charras on horseback.

My first Grito de Independencia in Guadalajara… and what a night. 🇲🇽❤️

Standing in front of the Cathedral, surrounded by the Mexican flags, music, fireworks and thousands of people shouting ¡Viva México!, I couldn't help but feel a little emotional.

This foreigner came to Mexico to experience a different life, and tonight I was lucky enough to experience one of Mexico’s most special traditions from the heart of Guadalajara. 🇲🇽

Sometimes you arrive somewhere expecting to simply visit… and somewhere along the way, it starts to feel like home.

Viva México! ❤️🇲🇽
