A few reasons why 2024 is a turning point on my life board:
🇵🇭 PH visit after 5 years. I made a quick visit to my family in the Philippines, 5 years after I started working in Malaysia. It was the best decision ever.
⛪ Found a small group after 2 years of searching. I’ve always been a sojourner in a foreign land, and the Lord blessed me with a community I can now call my second home.
🙏 Finding a place of corporate worship can be challenging due to differences in beliefs. How amazing it is that I met someone who is solid in Reformed theology and speaks the same language of faith as I do, and is now my discipler.
🇲🇾 My quick visits to KL rekindled my joy with friends who were my first and will always be like family, even as I’ve moved on to a new state.
✅ Got the opportunity to handle a premium program on my own at work. I believed I could, so I did.
🏢 I once saw and admired a condo from afar, wishing I could live there. A year later, that dream came true.
👭 I got to spend a few days with my sister in Malaysia, and it was my favorite trip so far this year. I wish we could do this more often, and next time, may our whole family be together.
