Today's Episode 8 of Season 11 features a Vietnamese woman who left her corporate life after a health scare.

Nguyen Long Chau Sa’s story begins in the demanding rhythm of corporate life, where she wore many hats across business development, brand growth, performance marketing and eventually a pivotal role at TikTok Vietnam.

With more than 12 years of experience spanning large corporations and startups, she built a career defined not only by performance and results, but by helping people and teams grow with both effectiveness and well-being.

By early 2021, Sa had already started sensing that life was calling her toward something different. Then came a thyroid cancer diagnosis—a wake-up moment that shifted her perspective entirely.

As she reflects, many of us spend life “pouring energy into one part of life and running from the next until we feel completely spent.” What followed was not an impulsive escape from corporate life, but a gradual and intentional exploration of a more balanced, sustainable way of living.

This week's newest episode just dropped.

This is Ep 6 of Seaosn 11 and we have Myanmar entrepreneur, Stacie Phyo, who turned a challenging problem into three complementary ventures—Pace Forward, Tutearn, and Women4Women.

And to think she was on her gap year - back from New York - when she decided to build something for her fellow countrymen and women.

Her approach is simple but powerful: solve your own problem, listen to your customers and build a team with systems that can grow with you.

The result?

Learning opportunities spread wider across ASEAN, with mentors guiding aspiring women founders every step of the way.

If you’re building in Asia, Stacie’s journey will resonate with you.

"Collaborating with Womenpreneur Asia for the IWD event in March was a meaningful experience for Women4Women.

What stood out most was how naturally women founders across Southeast Asia connected through honest conversations, shared challenges, and mutual support.

The breakout room format created a much more personal and engaging experience than a traditional webinar, allowing participants to actively interact instead of just listening passively.

Krista Goon, founder of Womenpreneur Asia, did an incredible job bringing together women leaders across the region and creating space to spotlight the efforts and journeys of women founders. The session felt warm, collaborative, and genuinely community-driven."

If you’re building a service business in Asia, her story is a reminder that fulfillment can be the true driver of success.

Have you defined your 80/20 yet?

Malaysian entrepreneur, children's book author and book publisher Anissa Safia was such a fun person to talk to!

We had stopped recording when I realized we didn't manage to talk about Auntie Eva. And that's how Part 2 got tagged into the episode. It made the episode a little longer but the story was worth it.

Anissa was refreshingly honest and shared some brutal truths about

- publishing your own books

- working mom versus stay-at-home mom

- why stay-at-home moms deserve dignity (not pity)

- how her book became a hit on Amazon after her friend urged her to list it on the platform.
