Perak International Got Talent 2026 is calling performers from Malaysia and beyond to showcase their abilities on a professional stage. Whether it is singing, dancing, musical instruments, or the powerful rhythms of 24 Festive Drums, solo performers, duos and groups are all welcome.

And there is plenty to aim for! 🏆

🥇 Champion — RM10,000
🥈 1st Runner-Up — RM5,000
🥉 2nd Runner-Up — RM3,000
⭐ Best Performance Award — RM500
⭐ Best Stage Performance Award — RM500

Participants will also receive recognition through Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards, together with certificates. Winners and groups will receive trophies or medals, along with cash prizes or vouchers.

But what makes this competition particularly meaningful is its charity purpose. ❤️

Poi Lam High School, Ipoh is the charity beneficiary of Perak International Got Talent 2026. Funds raised through the initiative will support the school in obtaining musical instruments and music education equipment, creating better opportunities for students to learn, practise and develop their musical talents.

So, performers are not simply stepping onto the stage to pursue their own dreams. Their participation also contributes towards creating better opportunities for the next generation. 🎶

🎭 𝐀 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

The competition welcomes:

🎤 Singing - any voice, any style, whether solo, duo or group
💃 Dancing - K-pop, hip hop, contemporary, traditional and other styles
🎹 Musical Instrument Performance - any instrument and any style, from soloists to ensembles and orchestras
🥁 24 Festive Drums & Cultural Fusion - including creative combinations with Kung Fu, Lion Dance and Dragon Dance

The instrumental category is particularly open-ended, welcoming everything from piano, violin, guitar and flute to Chinese traditional instruments, percussion, wind instruments and full ensembles.

For the cultural category, performers can present 24 Festive Drums on its own or create exciting combinations such as Drums × Kung Fu, Drums × Lion Dance or Drums × Dragon Dance.

The message is simple: any talent, any style, anyone can shine. 🌟

🎹 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝

Participants will have access to professional musical instruments and a high-quality sound system, helping ensure a fair and professional performance environment.

Equipment includes 24 Festive Drums, Grand Piano, Marimba, Vibraphone, Xylophone, Timpani, Bass Drum, Gong and Jazz Drum Set, together with a professional PA system and audio tuning team.

🌏 𝐖𝐡𝐲 "𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥"?

The competition is not limited to Perak. Participants are welcome from all across Malaysia as well as other countries, bringing performers from different cultures and backgrounds together through music, dance and the performing arts - because talent has no borders.

👑 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬

The competition will feature a distinguished judging panel comprising representatives of Members of Parliament and State Assembly members, major sponsors, professional artistes and the music industry.

One confirmed name already revealed is 🎙️ Jack Lim (林德荣), renowned singer and Astro MY FM DJ, who will be joining the judging panel.

🏆 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥

The competition will be held over two days:
📅 31 October 2026, Saturday - Preliminary Round
📅 1 November 2026, Sunday - Grand Final
📍 Poi Lam High School Hall, Ipoh

Each of the four main categories will send four finalists to the Grand Final: the top two performers from the Online Division and the top two from the Live Division.

That means 16 finalists will ultimately compete for the Grand Final titles and awards.
