Bandar Seri Begawan, 13 November 2025 โ Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) is delighted to announce that the Airline has been honoured with the 2026 APEX Four Star Major Airline and 2026 APEX Best in Seat Comfort Award for East Asia, a distinction based entirely on independently verified passenger feedback, ensuring a neutral and transparent evaluation process.
APEX leverages its partnership with TripIt from Concurยฎ, the world's most widely used travel-organising app, to gather anonymous passenger feedback based on neutral, third-party insights for the honours. For the 2026 Awards, over one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines from around the world using a five-star scale. On the same screen, passengers were given the opportunity to provide anonymous ratings in five in-flight subcategories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage (presented in conjunction with IFSA - the International Flight Services Association, a global professional association that represents airline and rail onboard service providers and their suppliers), entertainment, and Wi-Fi. The single-screen rating enables airline passengers to rate their flight in under 15 seconds.
RB's achievement underscores its commitment to delivering an exceptional and comfortable journey for every guest, reflecting ongoing investments in cabin design, product refinement, and service consistency across its network. The award serves as a testament to the dedication of RB's cabin crew, engineering teams, and product development specialists who work collectively to enhance the guest experience.
