At Ichikawa City Zoological and Botanical Gardens, a tiny macaque named Punch has quietly captured hearts around the world. 🐒💔
Abandoned by his mother shortly after birth, Punch did not grow up clinging to her warmth like other baby monkeys. Instead, he was hand raised by devoted human caretakers who became his first source of comfort and protection. 🤍
When the time came to introduce him to the troop, the transition was not easy. Punch struggled to fit in and often found himself sitting alone, unsure and hesitant. Wanting to ease his anxiety, caretakers gave him a soft stuffed doll to hold. 🧸
