Some rooms are built for meetings. This one was built for staying. A quiet corner on the first floor, where a wall of abstract prints tells its own story and a mustard-toned shelf holds the little things that make a space feel lived-in — books, a camera, a scent of somewhere else. Timber underfoot, a woven fan overhead turning slow circles of warm light, and a tartan rug that remembers a different kind of room altogether. Work happens here, but so does daydreaming. Currently developing a full residential cabinetry package — kitchen, utility area, and walk-in wardrobe — modeled in SketchUp from a concept by MsJ. Warm wood cabinetry, a waterfall-edge island, and black-framed glazing tie every room together with one consistent material story. Still a work in progress, but the spatial flow is really coming together. What detail catches your eye first — the island, the wardrobe shelving, or the glazing?

New architectural visualization: the KopieSatu x Warisan coffee kiosk. 🧡☕
Design concept by FCT and the client, brought to life through SketchUp Layout and D5 Render — a compact container-style kiosk built for a coffee brand collaboration with heritage kek lapis maker Warisan.
Warm timber slat cladding, a corrugated metal fascia, and amber LED lighting were used to give a small footprint real street presence, day and night.
Which lighting mood do you prefer — the daylight version or the glowing night render? 🌙

I used to think a "cheap looking" room just needed more furniture or a bigger budget. After enough client walkthroughs, I realised it's usually the opposite — it's small unintentional choices. An undersized rug. One overhead light. Curtains hung too short.
The fix is rarely expensive. It's just paying attention 🏠💡
Which one do you think matters most — lighting or furniture placement? 🪑

Light moves differently in a kitchen you've drawn by hand first. This one began as lines on paper — elevations, sections, toe-kick heights, handle placements — long before it became warm oak, quartzite, and woven pendant light. There's a quiet honesty in a coffered ceiling, in copper fixtures catching morning light, in a fridge wall built to disappear into cabinetry 🕯️ If this kitchen had a scent, what would it be?

Symmetry, warmth, and a fireplace that anchors the whole room. 🔥
Throwback to a project shaped together with the client — a full-height built-in wall designed to frame the fireplace and TV while keeping display and storage seamlessly integrated. 🪵
Walnut-toned millwork, brushed brass hardware, and concealed cove lighting soften the double-height wall, while a layered coffee table and oversized sectional bring the scale back to human comfort. ✨

A mudroom that reads more like a dressing room.
Concept developed together with the client, modeled in SketchUp and rendered in D5 to explore proportion, hardware detailing, and material tone before construction.
The brief was warm minimalism — an arched threshold, fluted brass pulls, and diamond inlay paneling that soften an otherwise utilitarian storage wall into something worth lingering in.

🌿Soft light through a paper lantern pendant. Linen drying on a brass rod. A quiet room that asks nothing more than to be used slowly.
This is the laundry suite my client and I built — not to hide the chores of a home, but to give them a place worth walking into.✨
Sage green walls hold the warmth. Quartzite catches the last of the light. Even the ordinary deserves a little grace.
