😢 TODAY WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS… BUT I DIDN’T GIVE UP
Today happens to be one of those days I will never forget. 😢
I was rushing to take my children to school for their holiday lessons because today was their last day, and I really didn't want them to miss it.
We waited for bus for a long time, but unfortunately, the bus didn't come. Time was already going, so when I saw a commercial bus, I quickly entered without even checking the condition of the seats. I was only thinking about getting my children to school on time.
Little did I know that the r0ugh, br'oken chair inside the bus was about to give me another probl£m.
As I sat down, my clothes caught on the chair and tore ba'dly in front. 😭💔
Honestly, I was so s*d. The tear was very obvious, and there was no way I could go back home to change because we were already running late. I simply used my hand to cover the torn part and continued the journey.
People in the bus kept saying, “Sorry, sorry.” Even the driver felt b*d and apologized. I was just sitting there, trying not to c^y, signing with sa*d!ness until we finally got to the school.
But then I reminded myself:
“I can't give up now. It's their last day.”
So I kept moving.
Sometimes motherhood means putting your children's needs before your own comfort. Sometimes you leave the house looking beautiful and end up covering a torn dress with your hand just to make sure your children get where they need to be. 😂😭
It wasn't the day I planned, but I made it through.
The dress tore, but my spirit didn't.
As mothers, we may have b**d days, embarr*ssing moments, unexpected disappo0ntments and situations that make us want to c —but we keep moving because those little ones are counting on us.
Today, I chose not to give up. I chose my children.
And honestly… God sees every sacriflice we make for our children. 🙏❤️
