If you know, you know, I rarely bake cakes 😅
But when I saw The dancing kitchen chocolate Swiss roll, I was like… ok I REALLY want to try this.

So I messaged her, and that’s when I found out the recipe was from Momma Bear Bakes🤎
Fast forward to today, thanks to these two beautiful ladies, I ended up making this.

Did everything go perfectly? Of course not 😂
My scale got stuck while measuring flour, I didn’t even have the exact tray size Rosh mentioned…
මන් සැලෙයිද් කියලා හදන්න පටන් ගත්ත එක ඔන්න හැදුවා 🤭

And honestly?
It turned out way better than I ever imagined.

Sometimes you just have to try, even when things aren’t perfect.

I thought I’d do one photo per month…
turns out my cooking showed up only when it felt like it 😂😉

January – cooked (Malaysia 🇲🇾)
Feb & Mar – stove on silent mode (Qatar 🇶🇦)
April – cooked twice. We’ll call it progress 😏 (Malaysia 🇲🇾)
May – easy-peasy meals 🤭 (plus one ambitious “host colleagues” day) (Qatar 🇶🇦)
June – no cooking needed: Amma + relatives = 5-star Sri Lankan food ❤️🇱🇰
July – benefits still ongoing
Aug–Dec – finally back to the kitchen 🔥🍲
