Recently, we were definitely SHOCKED 😲 (and not in a good way) when we connected to mobile network in Qatar after landing.
Our Finnish mobile operator's data roaming cost OVER 10 EUR / MEGABYTE! 💸 Within a mere moments, even before the traditional "Welcome to Qatar" message from an operator arrived our phone bills had increased by around 50 EUR.. 🫣
