It was our honour to produce the Opening Ceremony for the 30th ASPAC Senate Golf 2026.

and we built it around one idea: make Malaysia impossible to forget.

The story began with thunder ,VIP guests striking the 24 Festive Drums, their rhythm shaking the hall and calling forth what lay dormant. A tiger, sleeping within the folds of batik fabric, stirred. It awakened. It ran — fierce, alive, and unmistakably Malaysian — before pausing to crown the moment: the Senate Golf Sonny Yu Trophy, gleaming, with golf club in stride.

The music that carried it was Malaysia itself — the resonance of the Chinese erhu, the deep pulse of the Malay gong, and the soulful strings of Indian classical tradition, woven into one soundscape.

What followed was Malaysia in full colour. Malay grace. Chinese vigour. Indian rhythm. Three cultures, one stage, one seamless story of who we are.

A fitting opening for Culture Night — and a reminder to 22 nations that Malaysia’s beauty lies in the depth of its diversity.

Grateful for the trust. Proud to have told this story.
