VECTRIX Signed Distributor Agreement with GGR as Official Partner to Distribute Vectrix Electric Motorcycles in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, 28 June 2025 – VECTRIX, the pioneer in green mobility, today marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Distributor Agreement between Vectrix Mobility Pte Ltd and GGR Legacy Sdn Bhd. The ceremony, witnessed by Deputy Minister of Tourism YB Datuk Khairul. This represents a new chapter in Vectrix’s journey towards advancing sustainable transportation solutions in Malaysia.
Vectrix Mobility Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cape EMS Berhad and the global franchise holder of the Vectrix brand, now leads effort to reintroduce and expand the Vectrix footprint in Asia’s fast-growing electric mobility market.
Founded in 1996, Vectrix became internationally recognized as the creator of the world’s first highway-legal electric motorcycle. Its flagship model, the VX-1, launched in 2007, combined high performance with eco-conscious design and was sold in over 17 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Japan, and others known for progressive environmental policies and growing demand for electric mobility.
Now headquartered in Singapore, Vectrix under Vectrix Mobility Pte Ltd is focused on delivering innovative, zero-emission solutions for the last-mile delivery and urban commuting sectors. In 2024, Vectrix introduced two key models:
• iCargo – A 3-wheeled electric delivery vehicle built for commercial logistics, offering both standard and cold-chain options.
• VC2 – A sleek, two-wheeled electric scooter designed for urban riders and light delivery use.

Through this partnership, GGR will lead the distribution of Vectrix’s VC2 electric scooters to Malaysia’s B2C market, targeting eco-conscious commuters and businesses. Additionally, Vectrix aims to support the B2B sector by offering integrated solutions that include:
• Standard and cold-chain delivery boxes
• Glowbox – a mobile LED advertising solution for EVs, co-developed with Malaysian partners
The collaboration between Vectrix and GGR signals a shared commitment to building a smarter, cleaner, and more connected mobility ecosystem. Together, they aim to make electric two-wheelers more accessible, exciting, and impactful—not just for individual riders, but for the broader logistics and delivery industries.
