Alaïa's fashion show for the Fall/Winter 2022 collection is a crescendo of emotions. White, black, and n**e are the masters but there is no lack of color peaks, feathers, and jumpsuits with dangerous transparencies.

Pieter Mulier has raised the bar, has concentrated all his strength on the beauty of the clothes, abandoning himself more to his personal taste (which translates into sartorial excellence and invisible stitching). It's the encounter between the poetics and heritage of the Maison and the tastes of the creative director. It is a celebration of beauty, without too many words.

Directly from the men's wardrobe, minimal-cut oversized blazers, fur sleeveless jackets reminiscent of a distant animalier effect, tight-fitting leather coats, and black and white wool capes are fused into the Alaïa universe. Bold and extremely feminine, the collection was applauded, appreciated, and loved. Each look has a surprising detail that showcases Mulier's distinct sense of style.

Daniel Roseberry's collection merged the showmanship of the Ziegfeld Follies with the drama of sci-fi costumes.

The designer was referring to his desire to strip back his signature color and billowing volumes this season in favor of a more essential interpretation of the house’s Surrealist codes, rendered in a palette of black, ecru and gold. But the concept of discipline hardly did justice to this flamboyant lineup, which merged the showmanship of the Ziegfeld Follies with the drama of sci-fi costumes.

Roseberry put the accent on tailoring with variations on jackets, some black, with exaggerated shawl collars; others made of ivory canvas with colorful stitching inspired by the technical markings on a couture toile.

Anastasia explains that while a lot of the masks she makes used to be destined for her own music performances, she now makes some of them purely because she enjoys the process, and some for other people. “My main aspiration is to do collaborations with talented artists and musicians," she says. "I love meeting new people through my art.”
