Hosted by Taylor’s University BizPod, the Hult Prize is recognised globally as one of the world’s largest student startup competitions, gathering young entrepreneurs from over 130 countries to build impactful startups aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Selected teams compete through national and global stages for the opportunity to advance towards the USD 1 million global seed funding finals.

Being recognised among the Top 8 startups nationally is more than just an achievement for us — it is a strong validation of Gig Guru’s vision in building an AI-powered ecosystem for musicians, performers, creators, and creative talents to grow sustainably in the future creative economy.

I’m honoured to be invited as a speaker for the Guest Speaker Series at Taylor’s Business School on 7 June 2026.

I’ll be sharing on the topic:

“Empowering Creative Freelancers via AI: A Strategic Innovation Model of the Gig Guru Platform”

This session will explore how AI can support creative freelancers through smarter talent matching, stronger strategic positioning, fairer opportunities, secure payment ecosystems, and continuous upskilling. As the creative industry evolves, I believe technology should not replace human creativity, but strengthen it with better structure, access, and sustainability.

As an entrepreneur, lecturer, singer-songwriter, producer, and doctoral student, I’m grateful for opportunities like this to bridge industry practice with academic insight, while contributing to conversations that can shape the future of the creative economy.

Honored to receive a Certificate of Participation from Create Apps Championship 2025–26, an initiative by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy.

Thank you to the organisers for recognising my contribution. As the Founder of Gig Guru, I joined this journey to share a real-market perspective on the gig economy and how AI-enabled platforms can help creative talents and freelancers build more consistent work opportunities—through smarter matching, better career support, and scalable ecosystem partnerships.

This experience strengthened my belief that meaningful innovation happens when builders, creators, and institutions collaborate with real problem owners in mind.

Failing Forward with Purpose.

This year, Gig Guru is entering the JUMPSTARTER for One Earth Global Pitch Competition. We’ve been knocked back before—pitches that didn’t land, slides that needed work, numbers that weren’t tight enough. We owned it, we fixed it, and we’re stepping back on stage.

Why keep pushing?

Because creative freelancers deserve a smarter way to find work and get paid fairly.

Because every “no” sharpened our product, our unit economics, and our go-to-market.

Because progress is a trajectory, not a trophy.
Over the next days we’re pressure-testing our story with customers, tightening impact metrics, and rehearsing like athletes. Win or lose, we’ll publish what we learn—so founders behind us can move faster, and creatives on our platform can earn better.
