Did You Know that an employer's EPF contribution rates vary according to his/her employee's monthly salary? An employee aged 60 and below, who earns RM5,000 and below is entitled to 13% of EPF contribution from his/her employer while those below 60 years of age who earn more than RM5,000 are entitled to 12% of EPF contribution.

Any employer who fails to make this statutory contribution may commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to a fine not exceeding RM10,000, or both.
