LINDUNG 24 is a new PERKESO (SOCSO) Non-Employment Injury Scheme that provides 24-hour accident protection for employees, even when the accident happens outside working hours (e.g. at home, during sports, or while on a personal trip within Malaysia). It is not a medical card and does not cover illnesses such as cancer, heart attack, or diabetes.

Pros
✅ Covers accidents outside working hours (24/7).

✅ Medical treatment costs for eligible accident cases are covered according to the scheme.

✅ Provides benefits if you are temporarily unable to work, permanently disabled, or die due to an accident.

✅ Lower cost than many private Personal Accident (PA) insurance plans.

✅ Good protection for employees who do not have private accident insurance.

Cons
❌ Does not replace a medical card.

❌ Does not cover illnesses such as cancer, stroke, heart disease, or kidney failure.

❌ Does not cover accidents that occur outside Malaysia.

❌ Benefits and claim procedures are generally more limited than comprehensive private insurance.

❌ If you already have a good medical card and Personal Accident policy, there may be significant overlap in accident coverage.

🚨 What Debts Make You Broke?

Not all debt is bad, but these two can quietly destroy your financial future if you don't manage them wisely.

💳 1. Credit Card
• High interest charges (15%–18% p.a.)
• Paying only the minimum keeps you in debt for years.
• Easy to overspend because it doesn't feel like "real money."
• Late payment fees and finance charges keep adding up.

📱 2. Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)
(Grab PayLater, Shopee SPayLater, Lazada PayLater & more)
• Small monthly payments create a false sense of affordability.
• Encourages impulse buying.
• Multiple BNPL accounts become difficult to track.
• Missed payments may result in penalties and affect your financial standing.

⚠️ These are DEBT TRAPS.

The problem isn't just the debt itself—it's how these commitments slowly consume your monthly income.

❌ Less money to save.
❌ Less money to invest.
❌ More financial stress.
❌ Harder to achieve your dreams of owning a home, retiring comfortably, or building wealth.

💡 Remember:
Every RM100 spent on unnecessary interest is RM100 that could have been invested for your future.

Start taking control of your finances today:
✅ Spend within your means.
✅ Clear high-interest debt first.
✅ Build an emergency fund.
✅ Invest consistently to grow your wealth.

Don't let debt control your future. Let your money work for you, not against you.

💰 Cash Trust (Living Trust):
Protect Your Wealth While You're Alive
Many people think estate planning only begins after they pass away.

The truth is, wealth protection should start today.

A Cash Trust (Living Trust) allows you to place your cash into a trust during your lifetime.

A professional trustee manages the funds according to your instructions and distributes them to your loved ones when the time comes or when specific conditions are met.

Why set up a Cash/Living Trust?

✅ Immediate Financial Support Your family can access funds quickly without waiting for lengthy estate administration or probate.

✅ You Stay in Control Decide who receives the money, how much they receive, and when they receive it.

✅ Protect Your Loved Ones Ensure your spouse, children, or elderly parents have financial support when they need it most.

✅ Preserve Family Wealth Prevent unnecessary disputes and ensure your wealth is distributed according to your wishes.

✅ Peace of Mind Know that your legacy is protected, even if life takes an unexpected turn.

Who should consider a Cash Trust?
✔️ Parents with young children
✔️ Business owners
✔️ Individuals planning for retirement
✔️ Families caring for elderly parents or dependents
✔️ Anyone who wants to leave a structured financial legacy.

Don't just build wealth. Protect it. Pass it on with purpose.

📩 Contact Prime Wealth Advisory today to learn how a Cash/Living Trust can help safeguard your family's future.

"Why is it so hard to save money?"
Most people say, "I can't save money."

The problem isn't always your income. Sometimes it's where you save it.

When your savings are sitting in your bank account, it's so easy to transfer, swipe, or spend them whenever something comes up.

A few years ago, I made one simple change.

Instead of saving in my bank account, I started putting RM300 every month into an investment account.

I treated it like paying myself first.

Over time, my money didn't just stay there—it had the opportunity to grow.
This is what I have today.

The lesson is simple:
Don't just save. Save with a purpose and let your money work for you.
Even if you start with just RM300 a month, consistency can make a big difference over the long term.

If you'd like to learn how to start building wealth through disciplined saving and investing, send me a message with the word "SAVE".

What is a Trust Deed?

A Trust Deed is a legal document that creates a trust and sets out the rules on how your assets should be managed and distributed.

Think of it as the instruction manual for your wealth.
It clearly states:

✅ Who is the Settlor (the person creating the trust)
✅ Who is the Trustee (the person or licensed trustee company managing the assets)
✅ Who are the Beneficiaries (the people who will benefit from the trust)
✅ What assets are placed into the trust (cash, investments, property, insurance proceeds, etc.)
✅ When and how the assets should be distributed
✅ The powers and responsibilities of the trustee

Why is a Trust Deed important?

Protects your assets.
Ensures your wishes are legally documented.
Reduces disputes among family members.
Provides continuity if you become incapacitated or pass away.
Gives you greater control over how and when your wealth is distributed.

Example:
Mr Lim places RM500,000 into a trust.
In the Trust Deed, he instructs the trustee to:
Pay his daughter's university fees.
Give her a monthly allowance until age 25.
Transfer the remaining funds to her when she reaches age 30.
The trustee must follow the terms of the Trust Deed.

In simple words:

A Trust = The legal arrangement.
A Trust Deed = The legal document that records your instructions and governs how the trust operates.

"A well-written Trust Deed doesn't just protect your wealth—it protects your family's future."

Wealth Planning:
It's More Than Just Investing
Many people think wealth planning simply means investing in Unit Trusts, stocks, or property.

But that's only one piece of the puzzle.

A complete wealth plan answers four important questions:

🛡️ 1. Wealth & Risk Protection
What happens if you can't earn an income tomorrow?
Unexpected events such as illness, disability, accidents or death can significantly impact your family's financial security.
Tools:
✅ Life Insurance
✅ Critical Illness Insurance
✅ Medical Insurance

Purpose: Protect your income, your family and your lifestyle.

📈 2. Wealth Accumulation
How do you build wealth over time?
Growing wealth requires discipline, consistency and long-term investing.
Tools:
✅ Unit Trust
✅ Stocks & Shares
✅ ETFs ✅ Bonds ✅ Property Investment

Purpose: Build funds for retirement, children's education, emergencies and financial independence.

🏦 3. Wealth Preservation
How do you protect the wealth you've built?
Growing wealth is important—but preserving it is equally important.
A good wealth preservation strategy helps reduce unnecessary risks, protects capital and combats inflation.
Tools:
✅ Bonds
✅ EPF
✅ Cash / Living Trust
✅ Other capital-preservation strategies

Purpose: Preserve your purchasing power and safeguard your assets for the future.

❤️ 4. Wealth Distribution
If you're no longer around, will your assets reach the people you love—smoothly and according to your wishes?
Without proper planning, your estate may face delays, legal costs, disputes or lengthy probate processes.
Tools:
✅ Will Writing
✅ Trust
✅ Insurance Nomination
✅ EPF Nomination

Purpose: Ensure your assets are distributed according to your wishes and your loved ones are protected.

Ask Yourself...
✔️ Do you have Life Insurance? ✔️ Do you have Medical Insurance?
✔️ Are you investing consistently?
✔️ Do you have an emergency fund?
✔️ Have you planned for retirement?
✔️ Have you written a Will?
✔️ Have you set up a Trust?
✔️ Have you updated your nominations?

If you answered "No" to several of these questions, your wealth plan may not be complete.

Remember:
Building wealth is important.
Protecting wealth is essential.
Passing wealth to the right people is priceless.

A successful wealth plan doesn't just help you grow your money—it protects what you've built and ensures your legacy lives on.

Protect. Grow. Preserve. Distribute.

That's the foundation of comprehensive Wealth Planning.
