Apparently, I’m better at collecting SD card than capturing better photos! 🤣📸💾
The main difference between V30, V60, V90 and CFexpress Type A is sustained write speed and how quickly the camera can clear its buffer. The capacity is the same, but the performance is very different.
SD Card V30 - Entry-level high speed SD. Good for general photography and standard 4K, but slower when shooting long bursts or high bitrate video.
SD Card V60 - Balanced choice. Twice the minimum sustained write speed of V30, giving better burst performance and faster buffer clearing.
SD Card V90 - Fastest SD standard. Excellent sustained writing for demanding video formats and long continuous burst.
CFEXPRESS Type A - A completely different performance class. Much faster than SD because it uses PCIe/NVMe technology, allowing the camera to write data and clear its buffer much faster.
