I dislike big rigs and setup but can't help this one.

Sony A7II
helios 44-2 58mm f2 vintage lens (circa 1972) with some cheap variable ND filter
Feelworld F7 Monitor and LanParte magic arm
Smallrig cage and other stuff.
Takstar SGC-598

Why?

Need the monitor to be able to manual focus properly.
Need the external mic to record audio properly (resisting that XLR Sony adapter)
Need the top handle to provide more stability when hand holding the camera.

What else?

Seriously looking into follow focus to make manual focusing more efficient.

Thinking that I don't actually need the 35mm, 85mm, 28-75mm and 17-28mm anymore.

The Dance of The Capoeira 2009

I took these shots in 2009 as part of a series of experiments. The effect was achieved by dragging the shutter and triggering the flash at the of the shot. Kononnya wanting to show the fluidity of the martial art capoeira.

Would like to attempt this again and do a Dance Of The Capoeira Revisited.
