Here's a superstition from Thailand and Indonesia you might not know,

Thai people believe that their head is the most sacred part of the body and touching others' heads is considered very offensive. Even with adorable children, we need to refrain from touching their heads or ruffling their hair.

While some Indonesians believe that whistling at night attracts evil spirits. This is because whistling is often used to communicate with spirits. Whistling at night can therefore invite evil spirits into your home or your life.
