HET JY AL OOIT VIR JOUSELF HIERDIE VRAAG GEVRA?

Is my lewe werklik 'n bewys dat God in my teenwoordig is?

Kan mense Jesus in my lewe sien?
• Nie: "Hoeveel Bybelkennis het ek?"
• Nie: "Hoeveel kere gaan ek kerk toe?"
• Nie: "Hoeveel bediening doen ek?",
• Maar: “Getuig my lewe dat God werklik in my woon?”

Hy noem homself in:

Paulus skryf in:
2 Korinthiërs 5:17; "As iemand in Christus is, is hy 'n nuwe skepsel."

• Hy sê: “Hy is 'n nuwe skepsel.”

Paulus skryf in:

• Nie bloot..., “Ek glo in Jesus” nie,
• Maar..., “Jesus leef nou in my”

• God woon nou deur Sy Gees in elke gelowige.
________________________________________

________________________________________

5. God het ons nie net vergewe nie...

Hy het ons Sy kinders gemaak.
Paulus sê in:

Jesus sê in:
Mattheüs 7:17; "Elke goeie boom dra goeie vrugte."

________________________________________

7. Kan mense sien dat Jesus in my leef?

Hier is 'n eerlike toets.
Wanneer mense my ontmoet..., ervaar hulle meer van:
• Liefde?
• Geduld?
• Sagmoedigheid?
• Nederigheid?
• Vergifnis?
• Genade?
Of ervaar hulle:
• Bitterheid?
• Hoogmoed?
• Selfsug?
• Woede?
• Oordeel?

Paulus sê in:

• As 'n prins as 'n bedelaar leef..., maak dit die koning se naam klein.
Net so:,
• Liefde,
• Nederigheid en
• Genade leef...,
wys ons na die Koning.
________________________________________

9. My lewe is my getuienis

Party mense sal nooit 'n preek hoor nie. Maar hulle sal jou dophou.
Hulle sal sien hoe jy:
• Reageer wanneer iemand jou seermaak.
• Praat oor ander.
• Jou geld gebruik.
• Jou huwelik behandel.
• Jou kinders grootmaak.

As iemand vandag net my lewe sou sien, sou hy iets van Jesus raaksien?

Hemelse Vader,
Vergewe my asseblief waar my woorde, my houding of my optrede nie by die Evangelie gepas het nie.

Laaste Gedagte;

Waarom hierdie Skrif?

Waarom hierdie Skrif?

Deuteronomium 31:8; "Die HERE self trek voor jou uit. Moenie bang wees of verskrik wees nie."
Waarom hierdie Skrif?

Waarom hierdie Skrif?

THE MESSAGE OF THE SONG “BRING ME BACK”
"Bring Me Back" is a heartfelt prayer of repentance, surrender, and restoration.
The song tells the story of a believer who recognizes that his faith has slowly been weakened by the pressures of everyday life. Fear, disappointment, unanswered prayers, worldly distractions, busyness, pride, worry, comparison, secret sin, and spiritual neglect have gradually drawn his heart away from the close relationship with God that he once enjoyed.
Rather than blaming God for the distance, the singer humbly acknowledges his own wandering and comes before the Lord with open hands and an honest heart.
Throughout the song, there is a deep longing to return, not merely to religious activity, but to intimacy with God Himself. The repeated prayer, "Bring me back," expresses the desire to return to faith, peace, joy, trust, obedience, and the confidence of being God's child.
The bridge shifts from confession to declaration. Instead of focusing on his weakness, the singer focuses on who God is: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; holy, loving, merciful, faithful, and unchanging. The song reminds us that restoration is possible not because of the believer's strength, but because of God's character.
The final verse and ending portray the believer coming home to the Father, trusting God's grace, forgiveness, and welcome. The song concludes with a simple but powerful prayer that every wandering believer can pray:
"Lord, bring me back."
Ultimately, this is a song about returning to first love, rediscovering trust in God, and finding peace in the assurance that His arms remain open to those who come back to Him.

THEN YOU SHOWED UP – MESSAGE & SCRIPTURES
The Message of “Then You Showed Up”
This song is about the difference between routine religion and a real encounter with God.
It starts with people coming together carrying burdens, distractions, and going through the motions, singing, but not fully engaged. Then everything changes when The Holy Spirit makes His presence known.
When He shows up: *Hearts open, *Fear leaves, *Freedom is experienced, *God becomes real and tangible, *Worship shifts from routine to encounter
The song captures that holy moment where heaven touches earth, and people realize: “God is not far… He is here.”
It also carries a response:
*We don’t want to miss this moment, *We lean in, *We invite Him to move, *We ask Him to stay
In simple terms, This song says:
“We came in ordinary… but when God showed up, everything changed, and we never want to go back.”
One-Line Summary
God’s presence turns ordinary moments into life-changing encounters—and we never want to live without it again.

THE MESSAGE OF “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS”
This song is built around two powerful promises spoken into seasons of pain, uncertainty, and waiting.
In Matthew 28:20, Jesus speaks just before His ascension into heaven. Although He was leaving physically, He promised His followers that He would never truly leave them. His presence would remain with them always.
In Romans 8:18, Paul encourages suffering believers by reminding them that earthly pain is temporary compared to the eternal glory waiting with God.
The song combines these truths:
• Jesus is still with us,
• suffering is not forever,
• and glory is coming.
It is meant to bring comfort, endurance, peace, and hope to tired hearts — especially on Ascension Day.

“Hierdie Jesus... sal net so terugkom.”
• liefde,
• verlange,
• hoop,
• aanbidding,
• en verwagting.
Hoofgedagte Van Die Lied
Baie eenvoudig gestel:
Jesus het opgevaar. Jesus regeer. Die Heilige Gees is by ons. Die Kerk wag gereed.
En: Jesus kom weer!

THE MESSAGE OF “YOU SEE ME STILL”
This song is a journey from honest pain to restored hope.
It starts in a place many people know but don’t always say out loud:
*Feeling forgotten, *Feeling alone, *Wondering where God is.
Instead of hiding that, the song leans into raw honesty, like David did in the Psalms.
From there, it moves step by step:
*Loneliness → feeling unseen by people, *Crying out → choosing to call on God anyway, *Realization → God was always there, *Revelation → He sees, He hears, He stays
The turning point is this truth: Even when I don’t feel God… He has not left me.
By the end, the song becomes a declaration: *God is present, *God is faithful, and *God does not forget His people
And it finishes in worship, not because everything changed outwardly, but because truth replaced fear.
In One Sentence:
The song is about discovering that even in your darkest, loneliest moments, God sees you, stays with you, and is worthy of your trust and worship.

THE SCRIPTURES FOR “YOU SEE ME STILL”
1. Honesty Before God
Psalm 13:1–2; 1 How long will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? 2 How long shall I take counsel in my heart having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall my enemy be lifted up over me?
This is the opening cry, real, unfiltered pain.
2. Loneliness / Feeling Abandoned
Psalm 142:4; I looked on my right hand, and I watched, but no one recognized me; escape was lost to me; no man cared for my soul.
That deep feeling of being alone and unseen.
3. Crying Out & Being Heard
Psalm 34:17–18; 17 The righteous cry, and Jehovah hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 Jehovah is near to the broken-hearted; and saves those who are of a contrite spirit.
God responds to brokenness, not perfection.
4. God Sees Me Personally
Genesis 16:13; And she called the name of Jehovah who had spoken to her, You are a God of vision! For she said, Even here have I looked after Him that sees me?
A powerful turning point, God is not distant.
5. God Is with Me (Chorus 1)
Psalm 23:4; Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Presence over circumstance.
6. Hope Returns / Faithfulness
Lamentations 3:22–23; 22 It is by Jehovah's kindnesses that we are not destroyed, because His mercies never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Hope is renewed daily, not all at once.
7. Truth Declared – I Am Not Forgotten
Isaiah 49:15–16; 15 Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. 16 Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are forever before Me.
God’s commitment is stronger than human love.
8. Final Praise / Trust
Psalm 13:5–6; Psa 13:5 But I have trusted in Your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. 6 I will sing to Jehovah, because He has rewarded me.
The same Psalm that started in pain ends in praise.
