Align with yourself. What works for you is your responsibility not your parents’, not your partner’s, not society’s.
I know it’s hard to accept, but avoiding the truth doesn’t change it. Don’t wait until it’s too late to accept reality: no one is coming to save you.
Gone are the days when a woman is Oriakudi ya sitting back, enduring everything in silence, and waiting for survival to come from sacrifice alone.
This is a new world, a new revolution. Old systems are passing away, whether we like it or not. If you want a softer, more peaceful life, you must intentionally build it. If you want to be recognized, you must build value. If you want to raise healthy children emotionally, mentally, and financially you must earn that life.
Love is not enough.
Marriage is not a rescue plan. Endurance is not a strategy. Alignment means choosing growth over comfort, truth over tradition, and responsibility over excuses.
