UPDATE: The Defense lead counsel, Kanu Agabi issues an objection plea granted by the presiding judge. According to the defense lead counsel the letter being circulated in court was not included in the previous evidences brought before the court.

Agabi also stated that the prosecution party has since withdrawn the said subsequent letter from the former Attorney General office following a motion filed by defense of his client.

This is not Ukraine or Syria; it's the harsh reality faced by the people of Izombe Community, Imo State, South East Nigeria. The Nigerian Army and Police have perpetrated unimaginable atrocities, including burning homes, ra**ng women, arresting and torturing youths, and extrajudicial killings. Despite my efforts to bring these abuses to light, the international community remains eerily silent.

For decades, the Igbo people have endured genocide, displacement, and violence at the hands of their own government. The question echoes: don't these egregious crimes justify the Igbo people's demand for self-determination and independence as Biafra? Shouldn't the Nigerian Army's actions be scrutinized and held accountable for alleged human rights abuses?

The world must acknowledge this crisis and take action to protect the innocent and hold perpetrators "Nigeria Army" accountable.
