"Today is a bittersweet day. This is my mom, It's my mother's birthday, but she lives with a severe mental illness. Growing up, I watched as my vibrant, loving mother slowly faded away❤️😭
As a child, I didn't understand what was happening; I just felt helpless, watching her struggle to find peace😭
What warms my heart is that, despite her condition, Mama still knows & recognizes me as her child. That connection is everything mama😭
Mama, I promise you: I will dedicate myself to helping you find stability, even if it's the last thing I do. Watching you struggle daily—doing things like rummaging for food and drinks—breaks my heart. I pray to God every single day for your recovery. 😭❤️❤️🙏🏽
