Don't Confuse Transition with Failure 🤔
One of the hardest things about growth is that it rarely feels like growth while you're living through it.
It often feels like you're falling behind.
Like you've lost momentum
Like everyone has figured it out except you
Not long ago, I found myself reflecting on these very questions.
As the world continues to change so quickly, I found myself asking whether I needed to rethink how I was growing, creating and serving.
Then I realized something that shifted my perspective.
Transition has a way of looking like failure when you're standing in the middle of it
When you're outgrowing old ways of thinking but haven't fully stepped into the new.
When you're learning more than you're producing.
When you're becoming someone your current results haven't caught up with yet.
That's not failure, that's growth in progress
Sometimes the hardest part isn't taking the next step, it's believing that the step you're taking is still leading somewhere
I've stopped expecting myself to have all the answers overnight, instead I'm choosing to stay curious, keep learning, and keep taking one step at a time. Because I believe the people who thrive aren't the ones who know everything.
They're the ones who never stop becoming.
So if this season feels uncertain,...
Don't be too quick to call it failure.
It may just be the bridge between who you've been and who you're becoming.
Keep learning,
keep growing,
keep becoming
I'd love to hear from you:
Have you ever looked back and realized that what felt like failure was actually preparing you for your next season?
