๐Ÿ’ฅThe Importance of the City Boy Youth Summit 2025

A Milestone Achievement

Congratulations are in order! The Honorable Minister of Youth, Ayo Wisdom, has officially approved the upcoming City Boy Movement (CBM) Youth Summit 2025. This marks a significant step forward in youth development and empowerment across the nation. The approval of this summit underscores the governmentโ€™s commitment to fostering the potential of young people, equipping them with the necessary tools, opportunities, and networks to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Why the City Boy Youth Summit Matters

Youth summits play a critical role in national development by serving as platforms for education, networking, and inspiration. The CBM Youth Summit 2025 is expected to bring together young leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and changemakers to engage in discussions that shape the future. Hereโ€™s why this event is particularly important:

1. Empowering the Next Generation

The summit will provide young people with the knowledge and skills they need to take charge of their future. Whether through leadership training, entrepreneurship workshops, or mentorship programs, attendees will gain practical insights that will prepare them for real-world challenges.

2. Encouraging Youth Participation in Governance

With the involvement of Hon. Ayo Wisdom, the summit emphasizes the need for young people to engage in national governance and policy-making. Youths must not only be beneficiaries of policies but active contributors in shaping them. The event will inspire civic responsibility and leadership among participants.

3. Economic and Entrepreneurial Development

One of the key focuses of the CBM Youth Summit will be entrepreneurship and innovation. By connecting young entrepreneurs with investors, business mentors, and funding opportunities, the summit will help drive economic growth, reduce unemployment, and create sustainable enterprises.

4. Networking and Collaboration

The event will bring together bright minds from diverse backgrounds, industries, and regions. This fosters collaboration, allowing young professionals and innovators to exchange ideas, form partnerships, and drive impactful projects beyond the summit itself.

5. Social Impact and Community Building

Beyond personal and professional growth, the summit aims to instill a sense of responsibility toward community development. Sessions on social impact, volunteerism, and sustainable development will encourage attendees to take active roles in addressing societal challenges.

Looking Ahead

With the approval secured, the countdown to the CBM Youth Summit 2025 begins. It promises to be a landmark event that will leave a lasting impact on young people and the country as a whole. This is more than just a conferenceโ€”it is a movement toward a brighter, more empowered future for Nigerian youth.

As we celebrate this achievement, let us prepare to take full advantage of this incredible opportunity. The future belongs to the bold, the innovative, and the engagedโ€”and the City Boy Youth Summit is the perfect place to start!

The leadership of the Southeast Zonal City Boy Movement is resolute in its commitment to uproot all forms of criminality and protect the unity and core values of the movement. This resolve follows the emergence of a faction led by one Mr. Nwaokorie, who, along with others, has been illegally parading themselves as anchors of the movement. These individuals have formed an unauthorized faction, created a deceptive WhatsApp group, and falsely claimed positions as zonal Leaders.

In response, the entire Southeast Leaders of the City Boy Movement have threatened to take legal action against these individuals, including Mr. Nwaokorie, for their illegal and fraudulent activities. In a statement issued on Monday, January 27th, by the Southeast Secretary of the Movement, Prof. Ogwo I.K. the leadership strongly condemned the actions of this faction, describing them as dishonest, divisive, and a betrayal of the principles of integrity and loyalty upon which the movement was founded.

Factionalism poses significant dangers to any political system or movement. It fosters division, weakens collective purpose, and opens doors for manipulation by external forces. In the Southeast, where political stability and cohesion are vital, such actions not only undermine the City Boy Movement but also threaten broader regional unity.

Let it be known that this faction is illegitimate, and their actions are deeply reprehensible. Their attempts to hijack the movement for selfish political gains reflect a profound lack of moral standing. The City Boy Movement is built on discipline, respect for leadership, and unity , principles that these impostors have flagrantly disregarded.

We strongly warn those involved in these deceitful activities to desist immediately. The movement will not tolerate any form of criminality or disloyalty. We are prepared to pursue legal action against individuals or groups seeking to destabilize our ranks, and we wonโ€™t hesitate to bring in security agencies where necessary to dismantle any structures of illegality that threaten our unity.

This is a clear and firm warning to anyone attempting to exploit the City Boy Movement name or reputation for personal or political gain: your actions will face the full weight of the law. The Southeast Zonal City Boy Movement remains unwavering in its mission and will not be derailed by political opportunists driven by insidious ambitions.

We call on all members to remain vigilant and loyal as we continue to pursue the collective vision of our movement.
