The greatness of a man is never measured by how many people bow before him.
True greatness is revealed in how he treats the ones who cannot fight back, the ones who have no voice, the ones society calls “small.”
If your honour only flows upward to those above you, then it is not honour—it is eye service. The weight of your heart is seen in how you bend low to lift those who cannot lift you in return. That is the language of heaven.
Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. The Son of God, Creator of all things, stooped to serve fishermen. That is greatness. It is not in titles, it is not in achievements, it is in humility and compassion.
Many want to be called great, but greatness is not in display; it is in responsibility. How do you treat the weak? How do you treat the maid, the driver, the child, the beggar on the street? Your treatment of them is the true testimony of your spirit.
God never entrusts kingdom power to men who despise the weak. Because the heart of God is mercy, and mercy is proven when you deal with those who cannot repay you.
Beloved, compassion is not weakness; it is strength under control. The world may tell you greatness is dominance, but in God’s kingdom, greatness is service. It is stooping so that others may rise.
If you truly want to reflect Christ, then look at the way you treat those beneath you. Because the weak may not remember your sermons, but they will never forget your kindness.
So I charge you today: seek greatness, but not by climbing on the heads of men. Seek greatness by carrying the burdens of men. That is the pathway of true kings in the kingdom.
